When you send an enquiry we collect the details you type into the form: your name, mobile number, chosen service, area and any message. We also record technical information that helps us answer you and understand how people find us: the page you were on, the page you first landed on, the website that referred you (if it is another site), advertising identifiers such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid and utm parameters, your device type, screen size, browser language and IP address.
How we use it
We use your details to call or message you about your enquiry, to prepare a quotation and to keep a record of the conversation. The technical information helps us understand which channels bring genuine enquiries so that we can spend our advertising budget sensibly. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for anything unrelated to our business.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in a database and a backup file on our own web hosting account and are emailed to our team. Access is limited to people who need it to respond to you. Configuration files that contain email credentials are kept outside the public website files.
Cookies, local storage and analytics
The website stores a small item in your browser's local storage to remember how you first arrived, so that we can link an enquiry to the advertisement or search that brought it. If analytics or advertising tags are enabled, they are loaded after you interact with the page and may set their own cookies as described by their providers, such as Google. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as they are useful for service, quotation and warranty purposes, and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
