Invisible grills replace the heavy iron bars of the past with tensioned stainless-steel wires spaced closely enough to stop a child from slipping through. Because the wires are thin and reflect very little light, the grill seems to vanish from a distance, and the balcony or window keeps its open view. That is why they have become popular in modern apartments, villas and duplex homes across Vijayawada, Guntur and Amaravati.
Unlike iron grills, stainless-steel wire does not rust, does not need repainting and does not cast heavy shadows into the room. The system is built from a frame of top and bottom tracks that are fixed into the structure, and the wires are pulled through the tracks under tension. When it is fitted properly, the grill feels firm and rigid, and does not sag or hum in the wind.
Dhanush Safety Nets measures each opening, chooses the wire grade and spacing for the risk, and installs the grill with tight, even tension. For homes with very young children or small pets we recommend closer spacing or a safety net, and we will explain the trade-offs honestly. Invisible grills cost more than nets, so we help you choose where they are worth it and where a net is the better answer.

Invisible Grills options we install
Balcony Invisible Grills
Balcony invisible grills run vertical wires between a top and bottom track fixed to the slab. They protect the opening while keeping the skyline visible, which matters in high-rise flats. We set the wire spacing according to the risk and check that each wire carries equal tension.
Window Invisible Grills
Window invisible grills protect bedrooms and living rooms without the dark bars of a traditional grill. They let in more light, suit modern window frames and can be fitted inside or outside the frame. The wire grade is chosen so the grill stays rust-free even near the coast.
Vertical Invisible Grills
In a vertical invisible grill the stainless-steel wires run from the bottom track to the top track. Because there is no horizontal line to step on, the grill is very hard to climb, which is why it is the usual choice for balconies where children live. We space the wires closely and tension each one evenly.
Horizontal Invisible Grills
Horizontal invisible grills run the wires from side to side, which gives a very open, modern look on windows and wide openings. Horizontal wires can be used as a foothold, so we recommend them mainly for windows and for homes without young children, and we explain this honestly at the site visit before you decide.
L-Shaped Invisible Grills
Corner balconies and L-shaped openings need a grill that turns 90 degrees without a gap at the corner. We fit two tracks that meet squarely at the corner and tension the wires on both sides, so the grill looks like one continuous run and the corner is as strong as the straight sections.
Materials and care
Invisible grills use stainless-steel wire in a grade suited to your location, with aluminium or stainless tracks. Coastal and humid locations benefit from a higher corrosion-resistant grade, and we advise on this during the visit.
Wipe the wires with a soft damp cloth occasionally and check the tension every year. If a wire feels loose or a track has moved, call us. There is no painting or rust treatment to worry about.
Not sure which option suits your building? Read our guides or ask for a free visit and we will recommend the right one.
