Pigeons look harmless until a pair settles into your balcony. Within weeks the droppings stain the floor and the railing, feathers clog the drain, and the constant cooing starts before sunrise. Dried droppings also carry fungal spores and bacteria, which is why doctors advise keeping children, elderly relatives and anyone with breathing problems away from a fouled balcony. A pigeon net solves the problem at its source by physically closing the space the birds want to use.
Dhanush Safety Nets fits pigeon nets across Andhra Pradesh, from apartment balconies in Vijayawada to duct shafts in Guntur and terraces in Narasaraopet. Every job starts with a measurement visit, because a net that is cut too loose sags and lets birds squeeze through the corners, while one that is fitted with even tension stays taut for years. We use UV-stabilised, knotless or knotted nylon and HDPE mesh in a size that stops pigeons but does not trap smaller birds, and we anchor it with stainless-steel hooks, wall clips and cable so nothing rusts in the monsoon.
A properly fitted pigeon net is hard to see from inside the home. Light and air pass through freely, plants and clothes lines stay usable, and the balcony feels open. The birds simply move on to somewhere else, and the mess, noise and cleaning bills stop. If you also need protection against falls or monkeys, the same mesh family can be upgraded, and our team will tell you honestly whether one net can do both jobs.

Pigeon Nets options we install
Balcony Pigeon Nets
Balcony pigeon nets close the whole opening from slab to slab, so birds cannot land on the railing, the floor or the plant stand. We measure each bay separately, join panels with a reinforced border and fix the frame into the concrete rather than the plaster. The result stays flat, flexes in strong wind and leaves the balcony fully usable for chairs, plants and clothes drying.
Building Pigeon Nets
Some buildings have pigeons on every ledge, sunshade and open corner, and covering one balcony at a time never solves it. A building net covers the whole face or the affected bays, cut to follow the projections and the AC units. We fix the edges into the structure and add extra fixings around every projection so the mesh stays taut and no roosting gap is left.
Duct Area Pigeon Nets
Service ducts between flats are the favourite nesting spot for pigeons because they are dark, sheltered and rarely cleaned. A duct net is cut to the shaft opening and stretched over a frame so birds cannot enter, while pipes, cables and ventilation stay untouched. Sealing a duct also protects the flats below from droppings falling down the shaft and blocking drains.
Window Pigeon Nets
Windows, sunshades and outdoor AC platforms give pigeons a warm, sheltered perch and a place to nest. We fit slim netting over the opening and the sunshade, keeping clear of the AC vents so cooling is not affected. The net is fixed with small stainless clips on the outer wall and can be unclipped by our team when the AC needs servicing.
Materials and care
We work with UV-stabilised nylon and HDPE mesh in sizes that stop pigeons and crows. The mesh is fixed with stainless-steel hooks, wall clips and cable so it does not rust in the humid coastal climate. Colours are chosen to blend with the building, usually transparent, black or white.
A pigeon net needs very little care. Wipe the mesh with a soft brush once or twice a year to remove dust, check the corners after heavy storms and call us if a section looks slack. With normal care the net keeps working for several years, and repairs are usually small patches rather than full replacement.
Not sure which option suits your building? Read our guides or ask for a free visit and we will recommend the right one.
